Best Practices for Integrating BIM and Structural Analysis  Coordinating construction documentation with structural analysis models is a task that structural engineers face on a daily basis. In this presentation we will review some best practices for integrating Revit Structure models with structural analysis and design tools including ways to prepare Revit templates for optimal analysis interoperability, modeling techniques to help eliminate interoperability issues, and workflow processes to streamline production.

Leveraging BIM to Integrate Civil, Structural and Construction Teams  Complex construction projects require a coordinated effort of many design and construction professionals that are addressing the various design, analytical and documentation aspects of the project. While many disciplines are beginning to implement BIM technologies to automate their own processes, larger benefit is recognized through an integrated, virtual design and construction process that fosters collaboration. This seminar will focus on the interoperability capabilities of information modeling technologies that is facilitating integrating of the whole team to improve project coordination and drive increases project profitability. It will also highlight how bridge design professionals can work in an integrated modeling environment with land and roadway design professionals.
